About Me

Hi, I’m MaryAnne, and I’m glad you’re here.

Life feels harder now than it used to. Returning a voicemail, finding a hobby, and having small talk have always been kind of a drag, but they didn't drain us quite like this. The past few years have really tested our ability to adapt and connect. To me, I believe one of my biggest roles as a therapist is to help you feel more equipped to manage emotion/stress and move through life easier. Processing is a part of it, yes, but I try to also bring tools to the table to help you repattern your nervous system, understand and heal yourself at a deeper level, and walk away with concrete skills you can actually use out in the real world.

I blend trauma-informed approaches, including somatic (body-based) therapy, nervous system regulation, and traditional talk therapy. At my core, I'm also a solution-focused gal. Therapy (and just life) can be hard, so I try to help clients leave feeling momentum and movement. If you're socially anxious, a people pleaser, your own worst enemy, or always burned out, I can help.

We may be a good fit if you're looking for a therapist who is also an authentic human, who will try to hold you accountable, or you want to learn, grow, and expand your comfort zone. Also, humor can be an integral part of healing, and I may try to lighten the mood and bring some levity to the therapy space. No guarantees you'll actually think I'm funny.
